New Study Says to Do Art Even If You’re Not Good at It

According to a new study, anyone who uses art as a means of self expression are mentally more healthy than those who don’t ever try.

Music and art have been proven by research to improve your physiological state and well as reduce cortisol levels and provide a much needed distraction from stress.

So even if  you have limited natural artistic ability, just simply trying to create art through drawing, painting, playing a musical instrument, dancing or singing can make you feel a lot better.

Art therapy is becoming more and more commonly used in treatment facilities and has shown itself as a useful and effective therapeutic tool.
